PROCESS

When we began ideating for LYNKD's first edition, identifying our target audience was essential. Lynn University celebrates its diverse community of international students and global citizens. We aimed to appeal to the creative innovators within this vibrant mix.
Our solution was a flexible, post-modern design direction that molds to each unique article. This approach sends a clear message to prospective students: whatever your creative style, you'll find your place at the College of Communication & Design.
Each article's design is defined by the story it tells. For instance, Darnell Kirkwood's piece celebrates his unique, expressive, abstract artistic style, featuring custom typography inspired by his distinctive handwriting. In contrast, "Boca Bauhaus" pays homage to Marcel Breuer's architecture of the BRiC, adopting a Bauhaus-inspired direction, and also features my own photography of the building that captures its distinctive brutalist attitude.
